Runway Inspired Challenge

Hi there!

The Runway Inspired Challenge is one of my favorite blogs for inspiration. These ladies always pick the cutest outfits! The colors in the dress are subtle but happy, perfect for Spring:

I love these colors, so I took Papertrey Ink card stock pieces and gave them a scalloped border. Then I cut gold glitter card stock using the Simon Says Stamp Love You big die cut:

Thanks and see you next week!

Color Blocking

For this week’s CAS-ual Friday Challenge, color blocking was the inspiration. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use some neon color – so I created a birthday card for my husband. I know, it does have some pink, but he actually likes this color! 😉

This is the outside…

The inspiration for the shape of this card came from the book Folding Ideas for cards and envelopes. I used several stamp sets for the sentiments on the inside: Papertrey Ink Movers and Shakers, Simon Says Stamp Circle Friends and the little heart was from Lawn Fawn Love and Breakfast.

Thanks for peeking in!

Case Study Challenge

Hi all!

I wanted to create a Valentine’s Day card with a non-traditional color pallet. So the inspiration at the Case Study Challenge was perfect. Here’s my card:

I used two Wplus9 stamp sets: Valentine Wishes and More Fresh Cuts.

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

New year, new blog! I have a few paper crafting resolutions:

  • Create a new blog – check!
  • Update the blog, duh!
  • Use up my materials before buying more
  • Re-organize my craft room closet – yes I’m afraid of opening that door

Let’s get started!
