The Runway Inspired Challenge is one of my favorite blogs for inspiration. These ladies always pick the cutest outfits! The colors in the dress are subtle but happy, perfect for Spring:
I love these colors, so I took Papertrey Ink card stock pieces and gave them a scalloped border. Then I cut gold glitter card stock using the Simon Says Stamp Love You big die cut:

For this week’s CAS-ual Friday Challenge, color blocking was the inspiration. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use some neon color – so I created a birthday card for my husband. I know, it does have some pink, but he actually likes this color! 😉

The inspiration for the shape of this card came from the book Folding Ideas for cards and envelopes. I used several stamp sets for the sentiments on the inside: Papertrey Ink Movers and Shakers, Simon Says Stamp Circle Friends and the little heart was from Lawn Fawn Love and Breakfast.
